The Wilderness Coast is famous for its oysters and mussels.
You can hire a boat or go to the beach and catch your own fish,
then bring them back to the Beachhouse for a barbecue...

DINING

Nothing beats breakfast on the sunny outdoor patio overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Bournda National Park.

The gourmet kitchen is beautifully appointed and a delight to cook in. It includes quality appliances - a gas cooktop and oven, dishwasher and microwave oven - as well as all the crockery, glassware and utensils you'll need to cook up a storm. A covered deck beside the kitchen means you can enjoy a barbecue even on a rainy day.

The cosy separate dining room seats eight people comfortably. Or you can enjoy an al fresco meal on the patio and watch the whales (Sept - Nov) or the kangaroos at sunset.

With the small but friendly Tura Beach shops 5 minutes away and the lakeside town of Merimbula only 10 minutes away, you will find everything you need for the perfect holiday. Try some of the local gourmet products from Bega Valley producers such as Disaster Bay Chillies, Tathra Pickle Factory, Bega Dried Foods, Pambula Wholefoods, see "Bruce" at Tura Beach Meats for the finest of meats and Merimbula Fresh Seafoods in Alice Street Merimbula.

If you'd prefer to eat out, sample some of the famous local oysters at Wheeler's Restaurant, seafood at the Merimbula Wharf Restaurant and Aquarium, mussels at Eden Wharf or the Kiosk right on the beach at Tathra.
